What experience do I need to become a FloorTek dealer?
We’re looking for financially qualified individuals who are driven to build, scale, and lead. You don’t need coatings experience to become a floor coating retailer with us, but you do need grit, business sense, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional homeowner experience. If you align with our values and want to take control of your market, we’ll give you the tools to do it.
As a FloorTek dealer, you’ll receive immersive, real-world training at our flagship training facility. We go beyond product and installation; our program covers marketing, call center performance, in-home sales, daily operations, and leadership development. You’ll also get full access to our confidential dealer resources, vendor partners, proprietary systems, and direct, ongoing support from our team whenever you need it.
The estimated initial investment is approximately $200,000 for a FloorTek Coatings office with a 2-crew minimum, plus an additional minimum liquid capital requirement of $200,000 for a total of $400,000. This business is built for serious operators, and it’s critical to have adequate capital to fund launch, marketing, and early-stage growth with confidence.

We do not provide direct financing to dealers, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

We don’t charge royalties or take a cut of your revenue. FloorTek is designed to let you keep what you earn and reinvest into your business. A breakdown of any standard operational or system-related fees is provided in our Dealer Disclosure Document.
Yes. FloorTek requires a minimum local marketing investment of $30,000 per month during the initial launch period to ensure aggressive lead flow and fast momentum in your territory. After the first 90 days, dealers are expected to maintain a minimum spend of 15% of net sales on local marketing.

The initial term of your agreement is five years, with one subsequent successor agreement option of three years, subject to meeting renewal conditions.
